The Program provides both Work Based and Service Based opportunities and provide on the job training as well as the opportunity to learn job specific and workplace readiness skills.
Lintons is entering its 10th year of the Community Works Program. Currently there are more than 40 individuals involved in the program. Lintons units that take part in the program are the Montco Meal Service Center, The Woodhaven Center, Northwestern Academy, North Central Secure, Gateway Foundations, Allegheny Valley School, Riverview Home and the Corporate Office.
Our newest addition to our Community Works Program is Courtney Dininny. Courtney has joined Lintons at the Corporate Office. Courtney works once a week and helps out with various office duties. Her bright and cheery disposition has been a welcome addition. Most recently Courtney decorated the office Christmas tree and it has never looked so good! If you visit the office you might even hear Courtney singing Christmas Carols while filing and copying.
Also, a part of our Community Works Program is Tom Conklin. Tom has been working for Lintons since 2007. Tom, a Utility Associate at the Montco Meal Service Center keeps everything in check! Tom’s sense of humor and personality are enjoyed by all at the Meal Service Center and the Corporate Office.
